Do you know post office robbery suspect?
2:10pm Thursday 2nd September 2010

AN alert resident photographed a man acting suspiciously just before an armed robbery.
Police officers have released this image of a man they want to speak to, in connection with the raid in Herongate.
Last month the Weekly News reported on the robbery, which took place at a post office in the quiet area of Brentwood Road.
An armed robber marched into the village post office and threatened two terrified women in the shop.
He was wielding a plastic bag in the shape of a gun.
Despite the dangerous threats for cash, the man only managed to get £40 before running away.
But following a police appeal, a resident came forward with the image, telling police the man appeared to be acting strangely in the moments leading up to the robbery. The male owner of a nearby store, who asked not to be named, said the small village was shocked by the appalling attack.
He added he hoped the renewed appeal would lead to the robber being caught.
He said: “This has shattered our confidence.
“How can we go on as normal when we know someone is willing to rob you at gunpoint for just £40?
“It’s not right and the criminal needs to be caught as soon as possible.”
The suspect has been described as white, with a large, stocky build, about 5ft 10ins tall, with shaven light hair.
He was aged in his late thirties to forties and was wearing a dark hooded tracksuit and gloves at the time of the raid.
